Irá realizar-se no DBIO, nos dias 20 e 21 de Novembro, o 3rd EUGLOH Plant Science Meeting, uma organização do Mestrado em Biologia Funcional e Biotecnologia de Plantas (FCUP) no âmbito da Aliança EUGLOH.
O encontro será aberto a todos os estudantes e à comunidade científica de Biologia de Plantas, através da participação e apresentação oral ou poster, proporcionando um momento de discussão, partilha de conhecimento e troca de ideias entre estudantes, académicos e cientistas no âmbito da aliança EUGLOH.
O encontro aborda 3 tópicos (sessões), GENÓMICA FUNCIONAL DE PLANTAS, FISIOLOGIA DE PLANTAS e BIOTECNOLOGIA DE PLANTAS E ALGAS e o programa final (em breve disponível) incluirá 4 palestras plenárias de cientistas internacionais. Entre estes destacamos o Prof. Stefano Mancuso da Universidade de Florença, uma das autoridades de maior renome em todo o mundo na área da Neurobiologia Vegetal e autor de vários best-sellers internacionais de divulgação científica, bem como de centenas de artigos académicos.
Participação presencialmente na Sala FC5 2.78 da Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto ou através de streaming. O link de streaming será fornecido após o registo.

The 3rd EUGLOH Plant Science Meeting will take place at DBIO on November 20th and 21st, organized by the Master’s program in Functional Biology and Plant Biotechnology (FCUP) as part of the EUGLOH Alliance.
This meeting extends an open invitation to students of the EUGLOH Alliance Universities, and to all the Plant Biology scientific community, for participation and oral or poster presentation. It promises to be a remarkable occasion for the exchange of research ideas, knowledge sharing, and collaboration, uniting students, academics, and researchers in the context of the EUGLOH Alliance.
The event will focus on 3 main topics (sessions), PLANT FUNTIONAL GENOMIC, PLANT PHYSIOLOGY and PLANT AND ALGAE BIOTECNOLOGY. The final program, which will be available soon, includes four plenary lectures by international scientists. A special highlight to Professor Stefano Mancuso from the University of Florence, one of the most renowned authorities worldwide in the field of Plant Neurobiology and the author of several international best-sellers in popular science, as well as hundreds of academic articles.
You can choose to participate either in person at Room FC5 2.78, Faculty of Science, University of Porto, or via online video streaming. The streaming link will be provided after registration.
