The initiative called the “UPorto Research Summer School in Microbial Communities: Taste of PhD Experience (UPhDExperience 2025),” will take place from July 7th to July 24th, 2025, at the Faculty of Engineering – University of Porto.
This event aims to provide participants with a transformative educational experience, preparing them for the daily challenges of doctoral studies. Throughout the program, students will have the opportunity to explore the dynamic research landscape at the University of Porto surrounding microbial communities, gaining insights into cutting-edge technologies available in the field. Through interactive and engaging sessions, participants will unravel the realities of life as a doctoral student, understanding expectations and developing essential skills for success in this journey. Additionally, the program offers a unique opportunity for students to build a network both within and beyond the UPorto ecosystem, establishing connections at national and international levels with research units/groups, departments, and institutions.
