Four recognized biotechnology researchers are participating in the Short Course in Biocatalysis, which is part of the BlueBio4Future ERA Chair project. They will share their most recent findings with the short course attendees as well as the CIIMAR research community.
We hereby present the opportunity for those who were unable to take the entire three-day course to attend lectures by Daniele Castagnolo, Robert Kourist, Kathrin Bellmann-Sickert, and Jan Marienhagen, on the 21st of May 2024 (from 10h to 16h) at Atmosfera M – Porto.
Registration is free but required.
Invited Speakers:
Daniele Castagnolo – University College of London, United Kingdom
Biocatalytic & chemo-enzymatic cascades in the synthesis of chemicals and organic building blocks
Robert Kourist – Graz University of Technology, Austria
Multi-enzyme cascade reactions for a renewable biotechnology – from biobased polymers to photobiocatalysis
Kathrin Bellmann-Sickert – University of Leipzig, Germany
Evolving vanadium-dependent haloperoxidases as versatile catalysts in organic synthesis
Jan Marienhagen – Aachen University, Germany
