Registrations for the BlueBio4Future Short Course in Biocatalysis are open!
The goal of BlueBio4Future training courses is to provide CIIMAR researchers with the latest advancements in biotechnological research, focusing on Green Chemistry/Biocatalysis, Synthetic Biology, Bioinformatics, and Bioprocesses/Bioreactors.
The upcoming course will focus on the important role of biocatalysis in modern chemistry, changing the way we approach synthesis and production methods. In this condensed program, students will explore the complex coordination of enzymatic cascades, honing their skills in creating intricate molecules with greater efficiency and accuracy. By combining enzyme and chemical reactions, attendees will discover new ways to produce a wide range of chemical compounds. Additionally, the course will look at using microbial systems for eco-friendly manufacturing, dealing with the obstacles of expanding biocatalytic processes for industry use.
Join us for a three-day training session from the 20th to the 22nd of May 2024, where you will learn all about the basics of biocatalysis. The second day will be filled with special guest speakers who will share their latest research and knowledge with the students. Get ready to interact closely with members of the BlueBio4Future team and highly regarded researchers like Robert Kourist, Daniele Castagnolo, Jan Marienhagen, and Kathrin Bellmann-Sickert. To wrap up the training, students will have the opportunity to put their learning into practice on the final day.
There is vacancy limitation, therefore your application will go through a selection process.
