We’d like to share with you the course INTRODUCTION TO ECOLOGICAL MODELLING (IEM 2024), organized by CIIMAR, which is taking place in Matosinhos, from 19 to 23 February 2024.

Invited lecturers: Gonçalo Marques (Invited Assistant Professor, Instituto Superior Técnico), Cândida Gomes Vale (PhD, CIBIO).
Course overview: Ecological models are useful tools to understand natural systems and predict their variations over time as they describe organisms and ecosystems and account for simultaneous effects of multiple stressors.
Target audience:
- Students (undergraduate, Msc, PhD), researchers and other professionals with interests in environmental modelling.
- Previously knowledge in ecological modelling is NOT required
- All classes will be in-person
- The course will be taught in English
Fee: 150 € (90 € for CIIMAR/UP members)
